San Francisco, CA – June 06, 2011 - Scientific Conservation, Inc. (SCI) a leading building energy management company for the multi-billion dollar global commercial building market, today announced it has entered into a Distribution Agreement with Toronto based Encompass Group - a division of Grid Cloud Solutions Inc. (OTC:GRDC). Encompass Group is a recognized leader in Canada for combining energy management and reduction technologies with renewable energy solutions.
Under the Agreement, Encompass Group will be the first Canadian company to offer SCI’s advanced SCIwatch™ technology to corporations and institutions across Canada.
SCIwatch interfaces remotely with building automation systems to analyze energy consumption in commercial buildings. Benefits include reduced energy usage, lower maintenance costs, and a consistent, standard platform that supports a wide variety of energy efficiency programs. Building energy usage accounts for 30 percent of all energy consumed in Canada.
